New Vegetarian Dining Experience takes foodies by storm at the Chester food and drink festival over the Easter weekend. The Mill Hotel & Spa Team were at the festival to launch a fantastic new dining experience, the Vegetarian taster feast.
The new addition to the Canaletto Restaurant and Brassierie Flambe Restaurant’s menus includes a choice of starter followed by a taster platter made up of some of the dishes on the already extensive vegetarian menu and popular vegetarian dishes from the table d’hôte menus. These fantastic taster portions include Bread-crumbed Sweet Potato, Leek and Pine Nut Cake. Mushroom, Tomato and Mozzarella Strudel. Half a Red Pepper stuffed with Savoury Cous Cous and a Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Kebab served with Greek Salad, Seasonal Vegetables and Timbale of Savoury rice.
The concept of the new dish began with the vegetarian taster feast’s carnivorous big brother the Roman Feast; a choice of starters followed by An Emperors meat selection, Fillet of Beef, Lamb Cutlet, Pork, Venison Sausage and Chicken Breast wrapped with Bacon flambéed at the table and accompanied by A Crescent of Vegetables, Potato Wedges and Traditional Gravy.
The Roman feast has been growing in popularity and we realised that our vegetarian customers were missing out, on the experience of the taster platter concept, therefore the Vegetarian Taster Platter was born and early indications suggest it is going to be just as popular as its big brother.
